HI,
I dont know where to post this but I was wondering when you guys are gonna complete this manga? its still stuck on chapter 80, are you working on it or is it a manga that you wont complete?

Staff has been kinda short of hand lately, and I'm working on getting new (better quality, yay!) raws for the series. We're still planning on moving forward, and hopefully we can get those new raws soon. Once we do we'll be pumping out releases on a fairly regular basis again (I hope).

If you guyz need any help that requires photoshop, i could give it a shot (even though i have no idea on how the manga scanlations are being produced, for SJG i would love to help)

Heya, I was working at http://sjgmanga.forumotion.com/forum.htm and EtrianFOE emailed me saying you guys are picking up Shounan Junai Gumi. He recommended sending you guys what I have so far so my efforts wouldn't go to waste. I'm still a beginner at Japanese, so it would be better if experienced people could translate it. Might need some fixing up, but this should give you guys a little headstart on volume 10, I think.

I haven't been translating the little "assistants" side story... For the first page, Shonan Junai Gumi's creator is saying "Well, everyone, let's hang in there and work hard!!". Then it gives a little description about each assistant and has them each give a sort of "hell yeah!" scream... I guess there's no direct English equivalent to "uooooooooo!" It's sorta like a battlecry or what someone would shout when they're getting all fired up. I dunno what that cat-bear thing is, but it says he's the chief of the assistants. The raccoon guy is the sub-chief, I think it says the controller-eared guy likes Famicom (Nintendo) and marupen (a type of manga pen), and the guy with pencils in his head is the new guy. Then the maker is like "Oooi... let's work..." That's just a loose translation, though...

And just a little note to everyone... I believe Tsujidou is the name of the area they live in. Tsujikou is a combination of "Tsujidou" and "High School", so it's like saying "Tsujidou High". It looked like those were mixed up a bit in earlier chapters or not explained properly.

There's a total of 181 pages, and so far I'm on page 104. I started from page 25 since the previous pages were translated by the other guy who was doing translations here, but his translations weren't very accurate... I could make quick translations, too, but I want to be as accurate as possible so everyone can read Shonan Junai Gumi the way it should be, and I wanna read it that way, too!

Anyhow, this is the manga so far. I used white text so it doesn't spoil it for anyone. Highlight it if you want to see it. I have the Japanese text from the manga here... you might see boxes if you don't have Japanese character support.
Note that Shinomi's name in kanji is 志乃実, but it was inconvenient for me to write that, so I wrote しのみ in my Japanese text. The small text in the manga that shows up beside kanji is to help you pronounce it. Just figured I should say that in case anyone's gonna look at this translation without any knowledge of Japanese.

i just want to say thank you.... really SJG is a great manga that its finished but nobody translate it.. i would like to see chapters more often but even if its slow thank you for doing the translation of the manga
