1,500th chapter releasedWith this release, this will officially mark our 1,500th chapter released. If Homunculus had kept count of the number of chapters it's used, we've counted the volume releases as more than just one since Hideo drew up many chapters, we would have hit 1,500 releases much faster but whatever.
Big thanks to all of the staff from over the years on their help on everything we've released. We've done a lot of chapters of a lot of great series and we're still going relatively strong. Not to mention we're one of a handful of Seinen groups still around. Anyway, before I announce the releases, Buddha, Gantz & Kamen Teacher are all dropped. We aren't going to be scanlating any more of those series as they're available by other groups and we simply don't want to work on them. And yeah, I really should update the projects page. I'm a lazy shit when it comes to that. Please don't ask "r u stil working on so & so???" - If we haven't announced that we've dropped it, we still plan on releasing chapters. We don't work on everything at once, and we work on some things more than others. For example, we work on Holyland a lot more than we work on Sengoku. Not to mention the original editor & t/l who worked on Sengoku are long gone, but that's a whole other story. Anyway, releases. Shonan Jun'ai Gumi ch93-98 (!SJG11) - So this is a long time coming. Our last release of this was on July 23rd last year, over a year ago. Kuthrow finally got un-lazy and did the work on the volumes, and voila. A release! We could use an editor who can redraw properly for the series. It would definitely help. Wolf Guy v10 (!Wolf10) - So here's volume 10 of Wolf Guy. This was a fun volume, just for the fact that 1) There wasn't too much text. 2) There weren't as many redraws compared to previous volumes. The volume itself? Well, I'll let you decide. In any case, we'll see you when volume 11 goes for sale. Whenever that'll be. PS, online readers. If you're going to upload our volume there, I don't mind. However, remove the other group's prior releases. If you can't do that, then you can kindly fuck yourselves. 15 comments
Happy birthday GGpX![]() Our GGpX is turning 23 today. Someone give him a lap dance! Now, let us wait for those presents.. [GGpX Edit] I was kind of hoping you'd fly over to Canada and give me one, but oh well. I'll settle with Russian. He lives ~150km from me in fucking Ottawa. [GGpX Edit #2] Okay so I promised releases today, and here we go. I was planning to have more released, but we just didn't finish some stuff. We might just do one of our usual hangover releases next weekend. We'll see. Big thank you to xyz85-mvb9 for all of his work on these releases. He did a little bit of something on everything released, so thank him and his Eyetalian group. Full Metal Panic Sigma v11 (!Sigma11) - So this is volume 11 and it leaves you off with a mean-ass cliffhanger. Fun volume overall, though. Volume 12 is even funner. Holyland 121-125 (!Holy121 to !Holy125) This is the complete fight between Yuu and Yoshito. A great fight, you should enjoy it. Now starts a boring flashback arc, that honestly... Meh. Homunculus v13 (!Homunc13 & !Homun13) Mediocre volume, but the next two volumes, which total 610 or so pages combined, are great. Absolutely great. So stay tuned. Koukou Tekken-den Tough v13 (!Tough13) And so begins the fight with Kiba, probably the absolute best fight in the whole series imo. This volume includes two MOTHERFUCKING AWESOME Doubles. You'll see. Rookies 194 (!Rook194) - Before-to-last chapter in volume 21. The pressure is starting to mount...! Bye~ [GGpX Edit #3] So I said our next release was going to be next weekend, but the Latvian wanted none of that and we finished a chapter tonight. Holyland 123 - Okay it's not really a release as much of a fixing. A few apostrophes were messed up for whatever reason, and now they're fixed. If you want to re-download it, go ahead. If not, no worries. Suicide Island 31 (!SI31) - From now on, we'll be doing chapter releases. Making a volume release would just take too much damn time, so we'll just do chap releases instead. Fuck... Something.
Hi.
Today, a Joey Diaz special. Joey Diaz is the fucking man. So today, our release. Waters v1-2 (!Waters1 !Waters2) - We're releasing the full series of Waters by the author of Mushishi, Urushibara Yuki. This is an incredible manga. Very good & fitting art, great story, great dialogue. A must-read. A big thank you to Hox for translating the series and the folk at Scantily-Clad for purchasing the volumes for me & typesetting the two volumes. Next release will be on July 23rd. Come see us on IRC then. Fuck Post CanadaSensing a trend?
Well, yeah. Fuck Post Canada, you greedy cocksuckers. A pack I ordered in early June was supposed to be here two weeks ago and only got here tonight. It's the pack with all the shit I bought from Japan, including stuff like Wolf Guy v10... And since it's the end of the month, and I have to bandwidth left to use, (insert lol Canadian internet joke here) I can't scan any of it until Friday! Cocksuckers. So anyway. Koukou Tekken-den Tough Volume 12 (!Tough12) - Volume 13 starts arguably, in my opinion anyway, the best fight of the whole series. The fight is one of the longest in the whole series as well, as it starts midway though v13 and concludes midway/end of v14. But it really is one of the best fights in the series. Here's hoping we get to it at some point. Trigun The Lost Plant by Boichi (!Trigun) - The third and final oneshot relating to Trigun. This time it's in a joint with XscansX, big thanks to them for their help on it. We might end up doing something else with them over the next few months. We'll see. Anyway, enjoy. Bye~ Fuck the Canucks.
Yeah, you too, cocksuckers.
Your team filled with pussy-ass motherfuckers, led by twin women and goalie'd by an overrated, grease-magnet St. Leonard Eyetalian. (St. Leonard is a small neighborhood in Montreal where all the Eyetalians stay and do their illegal shit) Not to mention your fans are the definition of people who jump on and off a band wagon on a whim's notice. This playoffs series has been the two douchiest franchises & fanbases in all of the NHL. I wish a nuke would drop at 9PM EST tomorrow night and destroy both teams and thousands of Canuck fans. Gary Bettman too, please. I also don't know what's worst, the thought of having Maxim Lapierre & Alex Burrows' names on the Cup or having Milan Lubitch and Zdeno "The Neckbreaker" Chara's names on it. Both are nauseating. Fuck both your teams, cocksuckers. Sidonia no Kishi Volume 01 (!Sido01) - Volume re-release for chaps 1-5. We've cleaned volume 02, just waiting for Elkin to t/l check with the tankobon to see if there are any changes to be made. Sidonia no Kishi 12 (!Sido12) - Yeah, sorry about the delay. We finally have someone to work on the release, thank you xyz85-mvb9 .-, So once Elkin translates more chaps, we'll have more releases. I'll also re-release ch11 with my tankobon scans at some point as well. Enjoy, and fuck both the Bruins & Canucks. Fuck the Bruins.Yeah.
Fuck their Bruins and their fairwheather fans who prefer hits over goals and fights over wins. Signed, the rest of us. Now, Holyland 118-120 (!Holy118 !Holy119 !Holy120) - Concludes volume 12, need a translator. Jackals 42 (!Jack42) - With the Latvian back, I hope we can get more releases of this. Rookies 193 (!Rook193) Thanks as usual to the people in Deadbeat-Scans for their help on this series. `-') Powered by CuteNews |
